Fireplace


We would like to include a fireplace in our courtyard wall; one that is suitable for cooking over. Do you have an interest in:

  • sculpture
  • fire
  • researching
  • building to suit the site
  • designing and developing your ideas

If so, maybe you would like to be a part of the fi replace working g roup! You will:

  • design the fireplace, in consultation with Georgie, and with input from Jutta and the park staff
  • research rules and design specifi cations for Rumford and cooking fi replaces
  • work with Georgie to take into account "cooking over open fire" hardware considerations
  • talk to the other working groups about possible collaborations
  • involve interested volunteers
  • integrate building into general work parties, and specific building bees as required

Timetable: May to August
