Weekly Market Notes for November 07, 2013

Hello Market Friends:

This week, we are celebrating the eleventh anniversary of the market's founding. That is many happy returns of market day! A hearty thank you to all our faithful vendors, customers, park staff, and supporters. We hope you can join in the occasion with a piece of birthday cake (on us). Leslie Lindsay, always inspired by market ingredients, will be baking chocolate beet cake, vegan carrot cake, and her radically popular gluten-free parsnip cake. Adding to the festivities, we've invited Jason Kun back to shuck more oysters since it was so much fun last time, and Feast of Fields will make their final trip of the season up from Jordan Station in Niagara to bring bottles of their sweet apple cider to you.

We'll have a great selection of produce, and all our other great food, too.

See you at the market!

Anne Freeman

P.S. Got stuff you wish you could fix?
