Music Gallery — concert update april-june 2007

Dear friends of the Music Gallery,

Starting with tomorrow night (Thursday April 19) and a visit from Amsterdam's violin/video/voice artist Monica Germino, things are looking up (and Dutch!) for this spring, and this complete listings update takes you all the way to the summer and our big BBQ send-off to the 06/07 season. Do also take a moment to check out our myspace page — www.myspace.com/themusicgallery (including the latest schedule) — and become our online friend before Facebook turns myspace into a "digital ghost town." We have some new audio samples up there, including tracks by upcoming artists Monica Germino, Arnold Dreyblatt and Fond of Tigers, as well as a live track by Matmos recorded here at the MG last October. Also, please note we are experimenting with a new listings format, so feel free to get back to us with your feedback.

Concerts coming up:
All presentations at The Music Gallery, 197 John St. — except May 20 at Horseshoe Tavern, 370 Queen W.
Box office: 416-204-1080
Advance tickets for some concerts at Rotate This, 620 Queen W. and Soundscapes, 572 College St.
