New cob sign needs urethane spray

From Jutta Mason to Parks supervisor Peter Leiss, Oct.11 2006

We have a nice new hand-painted sign telling all about the cob structure, big, about 4x8 feet. It needs to be weather-proofed in the same way the Canada Trust wildflower sign was done, i.e. taken down to Booth and sprayed with vandal-proof urethane in their paint chamber. Can you arrange for this?

From Parks supervisor Peter Leiss to Jutta Mason, Oct.11 2006

I will make those arrangements once you have the sign completed

From Jutta Mason to Parks supervisor Peter Leiss, Oct.11 2006

It is completed

From Jutta Mason to Parks supervisor Peter Leiss, Oct.22 2006

The cob sign still needs to be taken over to the paint shop

Update, Dec.1 2006

The cob sign was taken to the sign shop and later it was returned with a sheet of plastic stuck to the front. The painters don't spray the signs any more because they have a different process now, but that only works with plastic signs, not wood.

The plastic sheet began to peel off immediately so the staff removed it. Then the staff bought some urethane and painted the sign.
