Pizza Day Details: Spring and Summer
Our pizza programs give members of our community the opportunity to make their own fresh pizzas and watch as they are baked in the outdoor wood-fired ovens by park staff. We provide sauce, cheese, park-made dough and fresh herbs from the garden whenever they are growing.

Public pizza days
On these days, anyone is welcome to drop by the park for a pizza. For a suggested donation of $2.50, you get a lump of dough, some tomato sauce, cheese, and you can pick herbs from the park gardens when they’re growing there. If you plan to bring more than 12 people please call ahead to warn the staff at 416-392-0913, or email pizzadays@dufferinpark.ca.
There will be public pizza days on Sundays from 12-2pm starting on June 2nd and running for the rest of the summer. There will also be public pizza days on Wednesdays from 12-2pm starting on July 3rd, and running for the rest of the summer.
Pizza times for Schools and Daycares
We are very happy to accommodate special bookings for our local schools and daycares during the spring months. The suggested donation is $60 per hour, plus the regular $2.50 per pizza. This covers staffing, supplies, and ingredient costs. Typically, we can bake pizzas for up to 30 people in one hour.
If you can’t afford to donate, let us know and we can work something out.
Groups can make bookings on Tuesdays between 10-3 from May 28th to June 26th, or Wednesdays between 10-2pm from June 5th to June 26th.

Pizza parties for groups
Community members can book pizza parties in the park. The suggested donation for the program is $60 per hour, plus the regular $2.50 per pizza. This covers staffing, supplies, and ingredient costs. Typically, we can bake a pizza for up to 30 people in one hour. If you can’t afford the donation, park staff will work out a trade with you.
Pizza parties can be booked on Wednesdays from 11-12, beginning on July 3rd. ¬¬¬¬ They can also be booked on Sundays from 11-12 or 2-3, beginning on June 2nd.

Bad Weather
In very bad weather Pizza Days are cancelled. Staff monitor the weather conditions on the day itself (we don't trust forecasts) so before you pack up the kids call and listen to the outgoing message at 416 392 0913 or speak with staff.
